During the past two years, many members of our organization have requested a concise version of The Encountered for reference in the field. I do not have to tell you that the ability to quickly and accurately identify encountered organisms in the field can mean the difference between life and death and we believe that this Field Recognition Guide (FRG) will allow you all to do just that. It will also prevent some of the duplication of effort that we have observed due to inefficient information management.
We believe that by using the FRG our field researchers will avoid spending time studying species that have already been discovered by others. We have also compiled and included approximately previously unpublished orthographic depictions of some very interesting specimens.

A robotic blackmailer well-versed in the sins of the flesh that it will never know. A drifter with a thousand faces, none their own. A hacker who ruins lives and fortunes without ever showing their face. And one honorable soldier who needs the three of them to finish The Job.

The Encountered: Volume I contains over 200 creatures and 285 pages, with full color illustrations, orthographic views, rules for creature creation, templates for modifying or customizing creatures, an encounter management guide and several optional factions.
The city teems with life, swarms with people—eyes and cameras and computers monitoring everything. Yet no system is perfect, and in the shadows where no one is watching, crime and intrigue flourishes.
Mind Storm Labs is very pleased to announce the release of episode one of the Little Yoshida storyline written by Jess Hartley. You can purchase Episode I: Rough Trade at the Alpha Omega store.

“Mind Storm Labs’ The Encountered is by far the best looking creature manual I have owned for any game. It is loaded full of top-notch artwork and is full of creative ideas for factions and adversaries to use in an AO campaign. I still say Alpha Omega and MSL have the best production qualities of the entire industry.”
