Text change from:

depicted in Figure 7-13: Melee Combat Modifiers

to

depicted in Figure 7-14: Target Disposition

It’s furthermore not clear that these modifiers only refer to Melee (only when read in the 7.10 Melee context), but it doesn’t explicitly state that Figure 7-14 doesn’t apply when a target is engaged in Melee, but attacked via Ranged combat as well. The intention isn’t clear.

I’ve been looking over Figure 7-28, the List of Effect DR Factors, and in particular the wielding times. The minimum time listed is 1 Segment, and to get that time you need a DR less than four. I don’t see any way to craft an effect with that DR. I miss something?

Also, I can’t find a section that explicitly states how those wielding durations work in terms of initiative resolution in segments. i.e.- a character with reaction 17 (rolled initiative of 14) begins wielding an effect during segment three, with a DR of 8, for a wielding time of 2 segments. Does the effect happen during segment 4? segment 6? I assume that whatever segment, it occurs on initiative 14. Can anyone clarify this for me?
