All hail the Mezin! (Whatever the hell they are) May they spare their followers for last!

Edit: Now that I’ve gotten to read about who the Mezin are, I withdraw my praise. Do not hail the Mezin! Join the Mezin!

‘Er, your sentence contradicts.

"Do not hail the Mezin. Join the Mezin."

You are aware that if you’re going to join them, you’re going to have to hail the Mezin right?

I thought by hailing he meant throw rocks at them.

There’s a difference between a follower and someone who’s active. By saying not to hail them and to join them, he’s saying don’t just be a follower, be an active member. Basically don’t be someone they’re going to be controlling (if what they want happens), be one of the controllers.

Still, the line between those two sentences are very small.

It is, but I thought I just explained to you what it is. It’s the different between a follower and a leader. The difference between the ruled and the ruler. Except in this case, there’s a bunch of Mezin who are in the ruling position. The idea is, why not join them and be one of the rulers instead of one of the ruled.
