I think she is hooked. She liked the versatility of the game, and she stated the intention of looking into and registering on the site.
I gave all the people who played in my games my forum name and told them to record their experiences here if they registered.
Most will be home tonight or tomorrow, so I hope to see some responses here soon smile

Sable, give me a week to recover from the convention and get through a grueling week of catching up at work, and I’ll see if I can hook with you for something.

Or else, let’s loop in Myridean and see if we can play around with some of those virtual toys you two want to try out.

We could loop in Myridean .. but I don’t have any VTT toys to try out.

Until I get back to work and making money I can’t afford any of the paid VTT programs.  I’ll just be using maptool probably for a while.

But as far as giving you time?  No problem, I’d just like a chance in the next couple weeks to see what the system is like from a players end.

I was one of the players on the first day and it rocked!  The gm was out of control!  I’ve been playing/gming since 1980 (I even ran a gaming program for kids for 2 years) and I was a little afraid of taking my 10 year old nephew to play games at the convention.  I recall in the past how GM’s just didn’t know how to deal with kids (inappropriate talk) and frankly didn’t really want kids in games.  Well a couple of generations later and it’s apparent that the kids from the 80’s have kids and WANT kids to play (they need players!).

If Kanesolo doesn’t have kids of his own, I’d be shocked!  He was so good with my nephew.  He didn’t hold up the game for him, but made him feel like he was one of the adults.  The flow was great and he kept the game interesting for a kid as well as adults.  My sister asked for a report and I went on and on and she was please.  My nephew kept talking about it.  Now I’m trying to buy the core book for his bday.  We’ll see if the sister allows this wink  Even so I’m sold!

Thank you very much for the kind feedback!

Yeah, I remember that gave vividly. I tried to get him to sell out the party, but he was much too noble to be bribed cheese
Next time, I’ll have to take in the motivations of younger players and offer unlimited pizza instead of offering double the Trust of the current job!

And Thank You Wasp, for helping to introduce a new generation to RPGs. We need more people to help promote such fun and creative outlets to kids these days.

BTW, it was fun having a young player in the group, because I’m such a big kid myself!
