I remained relatively close to the story given into the rulebook, but added a few of my own elements to it. Sorry if it’s a wee bit grammatically incorrect, I haven’t had much time to look over it. :[

SANDWICH / 0521 T.A.S.T.Y.
Combat Bio-Engineered / Age 7
Manufactured in Seattle
Worked for Triton Enterprises.

Born 0521 T.A.S.T.Y., he was conceived via unique stem cells cultured in an underground lab within the walls of New Seattle. Although Bio-engineering had long since been common practice, his conception was far different than standard measures. Triton enterprises had been working on a way to create unique, non-cloned Bio-Engineered soldiers. This would allow them to customize the soldiers further than if they were to have cloned them from the cells of another, as the DNA could be written completely to their discretion.
The T.A.S.T.Y. project, or Triton Advanced Soldier Test Yield was conceptually designed by Triton Enterprises’ Bio-Genetic Research branch, and more specifically, it’s CEO, Roger Schmidt and several of his brightest scientists. There were three different attempts at the TASTY project, the first two yielded, in total, nearly four hundred failed test subjects, all with near identical cellular degenerative qualities that lead to lethargy and soon death. These original test yields, deemed D.E.U.C.E (Degenerative Engineered and Unconventionally Conceived Entity), and more specifically, D.E.U.C.E #1, in reference to the first batch of failed Bio-Engineered, and #2, in reference to the second batch of failed Bio-Engineered.
While most scientists slated for the project had deemed it a failure and refused to work on it any further, several scientists deemed the project worthy of their further work for various reasons. The project was ultimately too costly and Triton had decided to shut it down. However, days after the order to shut down was given, the scientists continued to work, funding the project with their own Trust. Their attempts seemed futile once again, as cellular regression in the next batch of test subjects continued, causing many of the remaining scientists to abandon hope and condemn project T.A.S.T.Y as an absolute failure.
Two scientists, Doctor Ebert Cranius and Doctor David Hynne, however, refused to give up hope, even with the five hundred and twenty previous failures, they pressed on, using their remaining Trust to fund the creation of one final subject. One of the scientists, Dr. Cranius, had realized that the stem cells themselves were far too weak to sustain life for elonged periods of time alone, and thus, had decided to mesh two stem cells together to form a single solitary cell. This process, deemed “Sandwiching,” led to the creation 0521 T.A.S.T.Y. “Sandwich”, named so for the process used in his creation.
Much debate was raised by the two scientists as to the future of the small boy that they had created. Dr. Hynne, who remained loyal to Triton Enterprises, wanted to submit the child to his superiors for further study and ultimate use as a soldier, as had been the original purpose for his creation. Dr. Cranius, however, wanted to give the boy a chance to grow up and live the life of a normal child and upon his maturity, he could decide his fate.
Dr. Hynne fled with the boy back to Triton Island and submitted the child to the C.E.O of the Bio-Genetic Research Branch, Dr. Schmidt. The boy was then given to the CEO of Triton Enterprises PMC branch, a strong Grigori man named Igar.  During the first year of the boy’s life, he was subject to harsh training methods and brutal treatment in order to finely tune him as a blood thirsty soldier. He grew distant from the faculty and his fellow trainees during this period of time.
One cold, bitter day, Dr. Cranius returned to the Island and was detained within the detention block for “Theft and intent to destroy Triton Properties.” Cranius’ only plea was to meet the boy, who had since matured into an adult, that he had created the year prior. 0521 , who was unaware of Cranius or his true name, Sandwich, was sent to the Detention block to meet this strange man.
The Doctor told 0521 of his true name, of the methods used to create him, and of his future as a tool of war. The brief encounter soon turned into a prolonged conversation as their subjects drifted became intertwined. Sandwich realized that he had an attachment to this man, to his father. Upon being ordered to return to the Barracks, 0521 protested, claiming that he would not leave the Doctor’s side, even going so far as to incapacitate the guards that attempted to pry him away. Sandwich demanded that the Doctor be released and instated as his mentor, lest he abandon his duty towards the company.
This matter was brought to the attention of Igar, who readily accepted the deal, as Igar saw this as a chance for Sandwich to gain knowledge from the doctor and to further himself as a warrior. Dr. Cranius was officially instated as member of the Triton Enterprises’ PMC Combat Research Team two days later, his paper for official induction signed personally by Igar.
Under the tutelage of Dr. Cranius, Sandwich was no longer treated harshly and soon grew close to his fellow soldiers, as well as the faculty; though he still felt that the confines of the stronghold were not where he belonged. 0521 quickly learned combat tactics and became adept in the use of small arms and physical combatatives. This training continued until the second year of his life, after which Igar had decided that Sandwich was ready for a combat tour.
His first combat assignment was the extermination of a small rebel force of Human and Remnant insurgence who were raiding Triton research camps in the mountains of what was once Washington State. The operation was a swift success, with prisoners taken. For the first time in his life, Sandwich felt like this was his purpose.

After his first taste of combat, Sandwich plead with Igar to get into ever single combat tour he could, traveling the globe fighting the Proxy wars of Triton. This brutal and restless life was the life Sandwich had sought, though he still stayed close to the Doctor, who had been promoted to CEO of the Bio-Genetic Research lab after the amazing performance his creation had given.
Dr. Hynne, upon hearing of the promotion which he had believed was rightfully his, took many private research documents and fled the complex to a small village in South America where he began to study the art of Wielding in depth.
Triton paid little attention to the Doctor, and Sandwich continued with his combat tours, secretly collecting Biological and other unknown materials for Dr. Cranius to study secretively in order to further human knowledge of the world. The information that 0521 collected yielded much knowledge that help further Cranius’ scientific studies.
The life that Sandwich loved continued on until the eve of his seventh birthday, when Dr. Cranius was found assassinated, a single gunshot wound to the head. Igar, along with much of Triton faculty, were quick to blame the rogue Dr. Hynne for the murder, and sent Sandwich, along with a small squad of soldiers to his purported location in Russia.  Triton Intelligence claimed that Hynne had moved his lab from South America after an attempted bombing failed due to a stranger removing it from the village, though this caused the villagers to be vengeful of the Doctor, demanding he leave. The Doctor was believed to have continued the T.A.S.T.Y project after it was demanded shut down by the Coalition of scientists, moving to a remote location in Russia to culture more soldiers. Sandwich demanded that he lead the attack against Dr. Hynne, claiming that Hynne was killed his father. The order was to kill Hynne and bring his research papers back to the new head of the Bio-Genetic Research Branch, Dr. Albert Weir.
0521 and fourteen other soldiers landed in Russia early in the morning, and by the end of the day, all but Sandwich had been killed. Sandwich was soon captured and Dr. Hynne had the young soldier brought before him personally, where he protested his innocence and instead placed the blame on none other than Albert Weir.
Hynne went on to explain that he had not left due to the opposition of his colleagues promotion as he accepted Cranius as a superior scientist, and that he had left Triton due to their absolute disregard for morality in scientific advancement, claiming that they harvested the bodies of successful soldiers for use in their Bio-Genetic enhancements, using their cells and leaving the conscious mind for dead. He then showed Sandwich the documents he had stolen years before, which all supported his claim.
He then went on to say that Sandwich was the next to be harvested, and that he had intercepted a message from the PMC branch, who were sending troops to come and kill Sandwich and retrieve his corpse for use in their Genetic Enhancements. This claim, too was proven to be true, as moments later an attack copter landed as troops deployed and surrounded the complex, engaging Hynne’s cloned soldiers. Hynne offered Sandwich an alternative, certain death or true vengeance.
Sandwich chose the latter, and the two fled via a secret tunnel built beneath to an underground Dock where they escaped into the Arctic sea on a small speed boat. Hynne explained that he had, through the use of Psychokinetic Wielding, foreseen the events that unfolded, and build a small air strip on a volcanic island nearby. The two men reached the airstrip and immediately boarded the aircraft there, flying to Oderon City.
Upon arriving, several colleagues of Dr. Hynne greeted the two men warmly, and were introduced to Sandwich. 0521 was quickly given a briefing as to what his role was in their mission, which he readily accepted. They did not know the origin of Cranius’ assassination nor of his assassin, but knew that he had many enemies within the scientific world, as well as within Triton Enterprises.
Many of the scientists were quick to point the finger at Triton enterprises new Bio-Genetics CEO, Dr. Albert Weir, though there was no evidence to prove it and Dr. Schmidt had retired, he was not replaced. Still, the two men had many differences and argued greatly about the effects of Original Stem Cells in the fields of Bio-Genetic production.
It was also widely known amongst all of Cranius’ close friends that he had developed a super-virus that would attach itself to the programming files that went directly into a Bio-Engineered’s mind during it’s creation, wiping the slate clean and giving the Bio-Engineered a will of it’s own. This was a very effective virus which he had intended to use for 0521’s creation, though he ultimately did not, because Dr. Hynne had forbidden it.
This Virus, deemed the Mind-Flayer by cyberpunks, would devastate the market for many large corporations that produced and sold Bio-Genetically produced entities, and it was entirely possible that he was named it’s creator and silenced.
Sandwich’s mission was not a certain one, as the truth behind the assassination of his father was not truly known. 0521 could seek out those with knowledge of the virus, he could seek out rival scientists, or he could investigate corporations that held any hand in the creation of Bio-Engineered.
These missions were not in any way what Sandwich had been accustomed to, as he believed war was his true home. He knew, however, that he could not learn the truth of his father’s death by charging in anywhere with guns ablaze, and so he chose to first hunt down rival scientists. This knowledge was furthered when it was discovered that Cranius had roots in New Mexico City, a brother now named ‘Hans Smith’.

Hans Smith was a known fan of Strata, and there was a massive Strata event happening in the city in several days. Sandwich quickly packed his things and boarded the first flight out.
