Triton Enterprises is defined in the AlphaOmegaTheGame site, under "Key Players" there is no more mystery, let it go. Triton specializes in bio-engineering, they created monsters, and the attack that locked them in the d-ting was an outbreak. The game takes place 2280 have fun… the ARG blew, but its over now…

[OOC] You guys really know how to sap the fun out of role playing. Do you think some of us are serious when we ask "What is this Triton company?" We’ve been following the ARG just like many others here, and we have read the summaries on the AO website, but when in-character we’re still searching for answers to this mysterious organization.

The original post was in-character, and the rest of the posts in this thread should follow suit. When you don’t - when you talk about the ARG and table top game out-of-character when the rest of us are in-character, you’re only making yourself look silly (because it makes you look like you weren’t able to realize we’re role playing).[/OOC]

[ooc] okay….  [/ooc]

I think that looking for more answers is wasting valvuable time that could be spent on preparing for what is to come, Triton is lost and Mantra has abandoned us.

[ooc] how’sat? [/ooc]

If Triton is trying to bring about a "better future" could it be possible that they let loose one of their "experiments", whether it be chemical or biological, on the D-Ring to shut up Kellie Graham?

Its a Possibility. There might have been others there to that they wanted to get rid of.

EDIT: Yep, Kellie’s Email confirms it.

Ok, I need something cleared up here.  Right now we’re in the year 2280, right?  Now this press release that’s been passed around is dated from the year 2007.  That is clearly so far in the past that this Kellie Graham has certainly long been dead.  Also, the press release refers to a Stevenson, WA.  Now, I don’t know what city-state the rest of you are currently in, but I don’t know of, nor can I find information on, anything about either a city-state or facility at this so-called Stevenson, WA.  As someone had stated before, Triton is on an island somewhere in the pacific.  Is this just disinformation, or has Van really found a way to reach into the past to try to thwart the Mezin?

There seems to be a disconnect between the ARG/marketing game we played and the RPG product that is planned. It seems a shame to me. I’d actually be MORE interested in playing a game that begins today with the world as we know it. You’d have to speed up the timeline enormously, needless to say, but it would be fun to experience the world changing trials detailed in the history section. How much better if we met these new species fresh and had no idea what to expect!

But I suppose what’s done is done. There’s a gamebook ready to be shipped, and it tells us what it looks like on our planet 200 years later. If we want to have any surprises at all, I suppose there’s no choice to go join the fictional future.

This would be a sweet MMO,  have it all build up to the coming of Orphanum and Seraph, which would be a world event like WoW had with Ahn’Qiraj and the Necropolises.

You didn’t lag at the AQ opening?

If so you must have had a ridiculously low server pop.

Yea, it took ten seconds to cast a 2 second spell, it was cool nonetheless.
